“Paint It Purple” Fundraising Ambassadors

Starting in 2012, The Pixel Project has begun building our worldwide corps of “Paint It Purple” Fundraising Ambassadors who will:

  • Work on the ground with local anti-VAW nonprofits to set up “Paint It Purple” parties and bake sales jointly hosted by the local nonprofit and The Pixel Project.
  • Work on the ground with local independent cupcakeries/bakeries to set up bake sales.
  • Handle the necessary event admin and paperwork on the Pixel Project’s behalf.
  • Represent The Pixel Project at all local “Paint It Purple” events.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to their area community members who wish to volunteer for “Paint It Purple”.

Our “Paint It Purple” Fundraising Ambassadors come from all walks of life – many are survivors of gender-based violence, some are women’s rights activists, others are people who want to actively help prevent and reduce violence against women in their own communities and are looking for a positive way to do so.

If you are interested in becoming a Paint It Purple Fundraising Ambassador, please contact us using our contact form.

In the meantime, please meet our first “Paint it Purple” Fundraising Ambassadors:
